Happy Friday! I'm sorry I did not have time to update my blog yesterday, and I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused anyone.
Advanced Math: We will have a review day on Monday, and the test will be Tuesday.
LA/SS: I inadvertently made a mistake when I announced that the projects were due today. It was a scheduling error and misunderstanding on my behalf, so when Mr. Sprain and I were discussing social studies this morning, it was clear that he had planned on having his Block 1 through Monday. I would have mentioned it sooner had I figured it out before this morning.
It turns out that the majority of you really needed this extra time despite having nearly four hours of class time to finish the project, so it worked out for many. For the two of you who came to class with it done, I appreciate your dedication to the task. On Monday, you can use the class time to finish your final novel project while the other students finish their book about religion.
HPL students: Please remember that your theme essays are due Tuesday, which is the last day of the quarter. If you are absent that day, you need to send me your essay through email, Edmodo, or G-mail.

Grammar/Guided Reading: Please bring both a notebook and a novel to class tomorrow.
Advanced Math: ACE questions, starting on page 46 (4-7, 30, 31, 47-49)
Language Arts/Social Studies: Those of you in my block one have a children's story about the three major Middle East religions due Friday. Those of you in Mr. Sprain's block one have an article to write.
Debates: Continue to research both sides of your topic.
**UPDATE:
HPL ESSAYS ARE NOW DUE TUESDAY, APRIL 9.

Hellooooooo FRIDAY!!! It has been a very busy week! If you finished everything that was due this week, you have very little to do over spring break! Imagine, an entire TEN DAYS of freedom if you've done your work. One of my mantras in life: Work now, play later. Kudos to those of you who have EVERYTHING in!
For those of you who are missing things, do not fret. Think positive. You have an entire TEN DAYS to finish it all! My suggestion to you is to break up your tasks into small parts and do a little bit each day, or if you have several truly unscheduled days off, break up your tasks into small parts and do a little bit every few hours. Either way, you can do this! End of the quarter will be creeping up on us when you return from break, so "get 'er done!" REMEMBER THAT YOU HAVE PERMANENT DETENTION UNTIL 3:30 EVERY DAY AFTER SCHOOL UNTIL YOU HAVE EVERY SINGLE ASSIGNMENT IN.
The only NEW assignment is to find three articles about your debate topic. They can be either for or against, but even better would be to find an article that tells the pros AND the cons/the for and the against.
