Guided Reading/Grammar:  We have had a change, and the art rotation will not end tomorrow but on Tuesday.  Therefore, we are not switching tomorrow.  My class will complete the notes on tense tomorrow, and the remainder of the time will be silent reading.  On Monday, there will be a quick assessment of point of view and tense.

Advanced Math:  The assignment for tomorrow is ACE questions 1-16, starting on page 12.  There will be a quiz on this content tomorrow.

Language Arts:  You were supposed to complete your online discussion on Edmodo today. There is no new homework.

Social Studies:  Our two student teachers introduced the World Tour project, which is something some of you have had experience with in 6th grade.  This project will be a very large portion of your fourth quarter grade, so it is important for you to keep on task during work time.  You will find out your specific African country and your partner on Monday.

Don't forget:
YEARBOOK MONEY ($6)
IS
DUE NEXT FRIDAY!

Guided Reading:  Because of the evacuation drill today, we did not get a chance to complete notes on point of view and tense.  We will resume those notes tomorrow.

Advanced Math:  No homework, unless you did not use your time wisely in class and finish 1.2.

Language Arts and Social Studies:  Due to some computer issues, we will continue working on the activities that we tried to work on today.  There is no new homework for either class, but I'd like to remind Block 2 again that their religion books are due this Friday.  Two of you from Block 1 still need to turn in their religion books, which were due two Fridays ago now.

In other news:

Yearbook money ($6) is due! Please turn in your exact change or a check to me by next Friday.

YEARBOOK MONEY IS DUE NOW!
$6 TO MRS. JOHNSON. :)

Guided Reading/Grammar:  Mr. Schiferl will discuss point of view and tense with you during the next two days, and then you will have silent reading for the last 30 minutes.  The new art/reading rotation starts Monday.

Advanced Math:  For tomorrow, do Investigation 1.2, just page 8.

HPL LA: Mrs. Novak will introduce a new replacement project for Language Arts tomorrow.  You will be expected to work independently on this project when you are not with Mrs. Novak.

Language Arts:  No new assignment, except to think about the author's message in the story that you started to read today.

Social Studies: No new assignment. Be sure to get last week's assignment in.  The religion books for my Block 2 are due this Friday.  Mr. Sprain, I believe, posted a message on Edmodo regarding his assignment for his Block 2.
