No homework for tomorrow!  If you haven't already brought a notebook in which to keep grammar notes, be sure you do that soon.  Tomorrow, we will finish our discussion on simple sentences and begin discussing compound sentences.

We will 1.1 in your groups tomorrow.

Due tomorrow: Journal Entry #1 (see below)
If you had complete freedom to change your bedroom, how would you change it? What would you add to it, and what would you get rid of? Use good paragraph structure, proper capitalization, and punctuation.to write this assignment. Aim for 7-8 sentences.

We discussed solid paragraph structure today.  Be sure to remember those guidelines when writing the paragraph.  I prefer you submit this assignment through Edmodo, but if you prefer, you can email it or give me a hard copy.

Social Studies
Due MONDAY 9/10:  Ask an adult to tell you their story of 9/11, and be ready to share their story.

First post ever...

This is my first attempt at getting connected electronically via blog with my students.  It should be an interesting run.  Since I will be having my students blog through Studywiz this year, I figured it would be best if I at least attempted the experience myself.  Hopefully I will find a way to make this a useful tool to help connect my students to our daily learning experiences after school hours.
