Camp Salem tomorrow! Wear SNOW PANTS, WARM COAT, HATS, MITTENS, BOOTS!

OVERDUE homework:        

*Westing Game journals         *Compare/contrast essays

*BOTH OF THESE ASSIGNMENTS ARE NOW OVERDUE.  MR. BERGEMANN NEEDS THESE IN SO HE CAN GRADE THEM BEFORE HE LEAVES AND BY THE QUARTER DEADLINE.

ADVANCED MATH STUDENTS:  
Worksheet (Solving for x using distributive property) and p. 31 (#16 and #18)--due Monday

NHD/LA:  
Continue to research.  You should have copious notes by now, and your working annotated bibliography should be complete at this point.  We are moving into the "get it done" stage, so please use your time wisely.  Crunch time is right around the corner!

Guided Reading/Grammar:  Complex and complex-compound quiz Thursday (Review tomorrow)

Advanced Math: No homework.  We'll pick up where we left off yesterday.

Language Arts: If you haven't gotten your journal to Mr. Bergemann, it is now late.  Please make sure you do that.  Grades are due soon (and neither of us passed the "Grading Invisible Homework" class at Viterbo.)

NHD: You should be researching, analyzing your research, planning, and revising your NHD project for at least 30 minutes every single night until the school-wide competition on February 14.  At this point in time, you should have a working bibliography created, and you should have taken plenty of notes to help create your project.

Other notes: 
OEE:  
We are going on our Outdoor Educational Experience THIS FRIDAY at Camp Salem.  We will leave shortly after school starts, as soon as attendance is taken, and we will return at about 2:45, just before school is dismissed.

You need to bring snow pants, boots, mittens, winter coat, and a hat!  We will be outside in the elements all day.  If you do not have these items, please talk to me or Mr. Sprain so we can get you situated.  We don't want anyone to be too cold.

You will also need to bring a can of soup (or a couple cans if you can swing it) because we are having "Stone Soup" for lunch.

Advanced Math:  Homework for tomorrow: -->

ACE Questions:  p. 11, #1-3, p. 14, #10, p. 15, #12, and p. 16, 15, #17-25

I'm not collecting this assignment, but you should be prepared for a quiz with the same sort of problems as this assignment gives.

Language Arts: Block 1 watched the movie Get a Clue, which corresponds with The Westing Game, taking notes of similarities and differences in preparation for their compare/contrast analysis of the two.  Block 2 will do the same tomorrow.  All students will write complete the compare/contrast assignment on Wednesday after Mr. Bergemann gives you specific instructions.  Your journals were due today as well, so please be sure to complete those and turn them in.  Mr. Bergemann needs to have time to assess these before the end of the quarter on Friday.

NHD: No news, just continue working on your NHD project.
