Welcome back! If you were absent today, this is what you missed.
Letter to Self--This was something we did during class and was due before you left. However, I will still accept it for full credit if you turn it in late.
Directions:
- Paragraph #1: Reflect on your winter break. What word would you use to describe it? Why? Was it hard to come back to school this morning?
- Paragraph #2: Goals for second half of the year… Include at least one academic goal and one other goal.
- Paragraph #3: Write about the people in your life that you will turn to when you have a hard time meeting those goals, or when you just need a boost of encouragement. If you don’t have anyone, write about why you don’t have anyone (by choice? For other reasons?)
- Closing: Give yourself one piece of advice (1-2 sentences)
Remember, this is in letter format.

Before winter break, your NHD Draft 1 was due. I am still working on giving feedback to everyone. If you have not yet shared your Draft 1 with me, please do so as soon as possible.
