I forgot to remind students that tomorrow is the day for both social studies quizzes--Russia map test and 5 themes projects questions from the groups.  Be prepared!

Just a super quick update, and then I've got to get to Student Council.

Grammar:  Grammar is now called "Guided Reading," and we will focus on sustained reading, reading strategies, and literature circles during this time.

Math:  Students were to finish 2.4 and then do p. 38, #26-32 and p. 39, #34.  We will discuss 2.4 in class tomorrow, and the rest of the assignment is just for practice.  Students who struggle need to communicate their struggles with me.  Also, students should be completing the study guide and letting me know if there is anything they need extra help with.  This week during lunch, I am offering math study sessions in Mr. Bagniefski's room (121).  Today, we practiced writing equations when given pieces of information.

LA:  Write those spooky stories!  Spooky stories are due Monday at the beginning of class.  Students may submit these via Edmodo, hard copy print out handed to me, school website dropbox, or just plain email.
