Guided Reading:  I collected the reading journals today.  After I read them, we will discuss some reading strategies that I think will be helpful for you.

Advanced Math:  Finish the distributive property worksheet for Monday. :)

NHD/LA/SS:  Working bibliographies were due today.  This is just a checkpoint.  I hope to see growth from Monday's status, and then more growth at the end of the actual NHD unit (February 13, as competition is February 14.)  Over the weekend, continue taking notes.  Remember to organize your notes in three columns:

If you have already taken notes, the suggestion I gave you was to highlight the influences/impact your topic had on people in one color, influences/impact on events in another color, and influences/impact on ideas in another color.  These three categories of "Turning Points in History" are the focal points.  Background information (like birth place and date, dying places, number of children, etc.) are NOT the kind of information that should be emphasized in your project.
