Welcome to WKCE testing week! Our schedule for today and tomorrow is normal, but the remaining days will be different as we make time for WKCE testing. Stay tuned for the specific details regarding those days.
Advanced Math
Students were assigned 5.2 today and given a review sheet that they can begin. We will discuss 5.2 and go over the test review tomorrow. I told students that I will be starting with questions on the review guide first, so the further they can get through the review, the better they will be. (If they don't even start the review, they might not know what questions they have.) The test will be Wednesday morning.
Language Arts
No homework. We have begun to focus on the topic of "compassion," in correlation with the art department's Compassion Project. We'll continue to work on that throughout this quarter.
A big thanks to Ms. Porter who brought all sorts of delightful cupcakes for the students and staff today! Tomorrow is her last day, and then she'll be headed to Irving Pertzsch to work with the little first graders. We will all miss her greatly!
