Happy Friday! Let's hope the winter weather escapes this weekend. I know many of us are suffering from cabin fever.
YEARBOOK MONEY: As you know, yearbooks cost $6, and you must sign up for one in advance. Please bring your yearbook money to me by next Friday, April 26. If you read this update over the weekend, quickly put the money into your backpack so you don't forget. (Just because Friday is my deadline doesn't mean you can't bring it in earlier.)
ADVANCED MATH: We spent quite a bit of time discussing the ACE questions today. On Monday, after the whiteboard warm-up, you will take an assessment. Remember, this is just to tell me how you are doing as a student and what I need to do as a teacher. I want to make sure you are understanding the content before moving on. After the quiz, I will have some review homework, and then we will continue in the book on Tuesday.
SOCIAL STUDIES/LANGUAGE ARTS: Religion books were due today, and several of you did not turn them in. Starting on Monday, those who do not have them will need to stay after school every day until it is done. Please don't forget to do this. Otherwise, we will continue our integrated Africa unit. On Monday, you will discover your partner and topic for the World Tour, and in Language Arts, we will continue to explore African literature.
