Guided Reading: We will take notes the entire time tomorrow since we read silently the entire time today and because many of you were absent on Wednesday for band.
Advanced Math: We will begin our new unit tomorrow. Our Say it With Symbols test will be our first fourth quarter grade even though it was a third quarter book. Between absences and the band event, we just ran out of time to keep it a third quarter grade.
Debates: Tomorrow is the final debate day! All of you did a fabulous job in preparing for your debate, and I was quite impressed with today's debates. I mistakenly announced the winners of my debate. I guess it was supposed to be a surprise. Sorry I ruined the surprise. Still, I'm proud of your efforts, and it was a VERY close race. :)
Language Arts/Social Studies: You have your Block 2 teacher for Social Studies right now. Those of you in my class, tomorrow is the last day you will have to work on the religion book. It will be due NEXT Friday, April 19. Mr. Sprain's class will also have tomorrow to work with Mr. Sprain, and next week, the student teachers will kick-off their unit on Africa, as well as new units in Science and Language Arts.
