I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving break and comes back rested for the month of December--only 15 days between Thanksgiving break and winter break! Mrs. Ivey, Ms. Nicoud, and I have some fun things planned for Language Arts and Reading, and I think you'll enjoy it very much! We will have our classroom spelling bee on Wednesday, December 11, and on Friday, December 13 (which is also Ugly Sweater Day), we will be headed to Viterbo for the Nutcracker performance.
Advanced Math students: Please complete 2.3 and 2.4 for Monday, December 2. We will have a quiz on Tuesday. For this quiz, I am grading your PROCESS, not your answer. There will be a few questions where you have to write out the steps in complete sentences as well. Again, I will not be grading the answer for these but the PROCESS instead. This is my way of assessing your ability to think through a problem and articulate the steps taken to get to the end product.
