I'm so sorry for the late post! Nonetheless, here it is:
Language Arts: Because so many of you forgot to do the assignment, we postponed it one more day. Please email me or Miss Porter an example of ethos, pathos, logos either on TV, in a magazine or newspaper, or in some other advertisement. Tell us which product is being advertised and then tell us which persuasion (ethos, pathos, logos) is being used.
Advanced Math: For tomorrow, you should do 2.4. We are having a quiz tomorrow as well. Be prepared to solve for "x" in one problem, solve a long division problem with a decimal point, and to find the slope by looking at a graph, table, and an equation. After the quiz, you will have some time to finish your pretest on Study Island or explore Study Island. We will start 3.1 on Wednesday.
